The East and South-East Region includes NHS Borders, Fife, Lothian and Tayside.

With the growing demand for simulation-based programmes across the East of Scotland over the last few years the risk of duplication of effort and the creation of silos of activity has increased. To address this, an East Scotland Simulation Collaborative was formed in 2022 aiming to break down barriers and promote efficient, effective, safe, and person-centred simulation-based methodologies across the network. The Collaborative was officially launched in October 2022 with enthusiastic representation from Tayside, Fife, Lothian, and Borders including both university and NHS stakeholders and a variety of professionals in attendance. The Collaborative has unanimous agreement to share appropriate resources, successes, and
troubleshooting hacks on a shared online platform, meet quarterly as a collective to network, learn together, and deliver an annual regional gathering.
